Fitting 17s

Will 17s fit on my 5door nova lowered 60mm? been offered a set with 4 good tyres (woo!) for my venoms

I dont see why not I have 16's on my 4 door on a 60mm drop with 1" between wheel & arch depends on the offset really.

i do need to find out about the offset coz its on a dub. i have noticed a 60mm drop didnt really get it sitting on the ground

My mate had those on his Nova years ago. They rubbed like mad on the rears. Not sure how much he had lowered it by though.

That doesnt look like a 60mm drop TBH, not saying its not. Springs and shocks?

just springs, i expect it would drop a wee bit more if i got shorted shocks. Got the springs off Fat Hobbit

Ah, yeah. Just springs wont give you a full 60mm drop. Shocks will have shortened rods or bodies to give that extra drop. Still looks low though.

et 35 jack, and most are 5 stud.

VR6 is 5 stud and offset 32 - 38 5x100 57 bore hole.

Others are 4 stud offset 32 - 38 4x100 57 bore hole.

i dont see there being too much of a prob at the bach. its a 5 door so has the rounded arches. maybe wrong tho.../...

I had those 17" wheels on my nova and lowered 60mm and it didn't rub. I had the rear arches rolled however.

that does look like a 60mm drop too me. round arches sit higher remember. If you draw a line across the arches in the side on pic you'll see what I mean.
