mk 2 light switch

Whats the best way to remove a mk2 light switch
used the seach function but to no avail lol
any help much appreciated

Headlight switch?

Pull the knob forward as if you were switching on the interior light.

Behind the knob are 2 tabs which have to be pushed inwards and the switch unit should come out.

the easiest way i have found is to remove the coweling around the clocks and get your hand in behind it topress the tabs cuts out any potential risk of damage to it
