does anyone have a picture of a 2E3 twin choke carb (the one off an SR) as im not too sure if my 1.2 already has one (been told 2 different opinions by the old owner and a so called expert)... are there any easy to recognise diffreences???

take your air filter off, stamped around the top facing upwards it should say 2E3 somewhere

nothing on top of the carb, only the words "Pierburg", "made in germany" and the number 13 stamped on it. so im guessing that its not a 2E3 type then??

i'll try and get a pic of the top of mine later, but i'm not too good at remembering stuff...

The 1.2 will have a 1B or 1B1 carb, I'll have a look for where its marked tonight after work.
