hi i drove my let nova before and it was ok from cold (has a slight missfire anyways) then soon as it warmed up loads of whitesmoke came out of the exhaust and had a very big missfire and all the water had gone out of the header tank? im thinking headgasket failure, anyone? thanks

the white smoke is steam caused by gasket failure! sorry mate:( hope you havent warped or cracked your head

that doesnt sound very good mate thas probably your missfire aswel. Get the head off.

its a cos cast one so hope it hasent warped or cracked, it never overheated while i had the engine?

check for hair line cracks between water and combustion chambers on the block and head as well as the gasget its self fella!!well worth looking at while the head is off:thumb:

well the gasget has failed so do the necesery checks and if all goes to plan just replace the little booger lol:thumb:

i take it the oil is not contaminated with water?

i think there may be abit of water in the oil, not that much so sounds like just a gasket
