rears GSi seats the releases buttons you push down the pull seats forward. Has a cover around them can these be removed?? if so how

Seat fabric can be removed by untucking it from the seat base, if thats what your getting at?

no the plastic covers around the releases buttons on the top of the seats

Think you have to get inside the seats to remove this, in one piece that is.

Ah....yeah. They are little buggers. BFFI to get them out IIRC.

Use a 5lb lump hammer, that'll get the little buggers out.

Just won't be re-useable:)

why do you want to remove these plastic bits any way??

If they are stuck can you not access them from the bottom where they click over the locking thingy?

If you are able to have a go at removing them, I'd warm them up with a hair dryer to avoid them cracking when they unclip.

20 yr old plastics have a habit of breaking.

no surrounds are broke and i have another set of surrounds also in seats which are undamaged i want to know how to get them out to change my bad set with a good set
