:!: I am desperate for ideas on how to tune a GSi engine whether it be on a budget or not so any ideas are welcome.. for this fantastic engine.. well in my opinion anyways :twisted:

In Januarys total vauxhall, the pipercross induction kit came out tops!
I'l be goin for that!

I think thats a good price, T.V sed it gave an extra 10.5 bhp, and that was on a standard GTE engine!

10.5 bhp IMO is a BIG claim for an air filter!!!!!!!


could be wrong though......... has been known in the past :roll:

Mike, they tested all sorts of filters, i thought that was a huge power gain
they tested panel filters, k+n, standard, e.t.c e.t.c
I think they replace the panel filter with a new panel filter,
took the recording, and then added performance airfilters!

yeah that is ehat they did in the magazine.. seemed like a fair test.. there was blydenstein or whatever it is filter there too that made an extra 12 BHP!!! any other things you can do like ecotec valves and power boost valves?? anyone tried these?? are they any good??

as nutsaboutnovas said the blydenstein setup came out top with 12bhp. ya have to mod yer standard airbox and fit their filter and intake pipe.
anything these guess develop is normally spot-on. i'd definately go for it if i had a 1.6 8v.
