I'm in 2 minds as to what to do with my engine, I have a 1.6 8v and the head has had the ports matched to a 1.3 inlet so has the cathedral shaped inlet ports, the head has been heavily skimmed and looks to be very clean inside. I've taken the inlet manifold and carbs off to try and resolve some poor running. I'm really tempted to get a round port head, get that really worked over and a new inlet, will i honestly notice a difference in power enough to make it worth the bother or should I stick with what I've got?
