what anyone think of those subs? obviously i gather the kicker be better but its expensive lol. what do people think? also does anyone know why a system sounds much louder and more bassy in a fiesta than a nova?
Meh, they're both budget, go with whichever.
What amp do you have?

Specs on amp, and both subs? Resistance, channels/coils, RMS, PMPO, etc.

ill find em now
if you listen to fast bassy music i would just get a better 12" sub tbh
15" are ok if you listen to slow bass

and i listen to slow bass, hip hop mainly. not often dance music
The FLI is better suited to that amp, assuming the amp is 200WRMS @ 4Ohm. Its underpowered for the Kicker one.
The specs on the Kicker are more realistic though, instead of marketing figures like the FLI has...

thanks mate +rep
Hang on, I meant the Kicker is better suited, not the FLI lol
what about the vibe space, i swear by it. my mates has two vibe blacks that they do as a twin box and my one 12" sounds better and is way louder. i really would look into one!
I had an alpine V12 amp running a 15" Kicker comp in the boot of my old SR rep and if you run them in properly then they will more than competently handle pretty much anything you can run through them tbh as i tried mine with everything from brum and bass to happy hardcore to rock and it was spot on for all of them surprisingly enough:thumb:
Whatever you go fo just make sure you run it in well and it will sound better than if you just spank it from day one!
brum and bass

i got a 15" kicker comp sub in my nova running of a 700watt jbl amp and the bass is unreal, it rattles the front head lights, its a tight fit in the boot but it sounds good

Look for rockford fosgate imo!
12" is the best for all round listening, 15" can delay the bass notes
Running 2 jbl grand touring amps!
Very pleased up to now!
My stereo runs for about 20mins flat out on a fully charged batt! Without engine running obv
Also get a power cap! As the stereo responds alot better when you have one!
