Just a piece of advice, 17's cost Money, the tyres to go with them, cost alot of Money, sometimes making them fit costs Money and if you do the right thing and tell insurance that will cost Money too.

You may already know all that, but I like to bring people bad news.

I was on the phone to wheel base about some 17" masitaly vt5's and a set of four cost's around ?412 WITHOUT tyres and they are ?681 WITH tyres so there not that expensive, those are the wheels I'm getting for my car :D :D :D also a set of four speedline allesio 2's cost around ?517 WITHOUT tyres and are ?799 WITH tyres so the 17's are definatley cheaper, and I PERSONALLY think speedlines look a bit dated now !!!!

?681 - ?799 are you mad, thats my budget for a new car!

U leave that lot in/around Wulverhamton for 5 minutes you can say bye bye to them.

Ive seen adverts for these flat 5 spokes, 17s, tyres, fitted balanced etc for something like ?560

i think theyre on the edge at the moment they could go down with the Hock, Super T etc as a timeless classic or fall the way of the blade and venom, live fast die young

I don't wana sound stupid, but if you want really cheap 17 "alloys look around for a set of Rover Vitesse Sport 17" alloys, a mate picked some up for his nova(wide arch kit though) for ?150 with v.good tyres!!

i have used falkens and find them very responsive especially in the wet (like most of the time).
Rover alloys offset is way out and would take even more bodywok to make em run cleanly on the rear arches!

17s were planned for the nova, now Im keeping the 15s for the nova, dunno wot the corsas gonna have/keep, may get it same set as my novas racelines, but if some 17s came up, Id try em on a nova first, alot of corsas on 17s,my corsas slammed in 15s at the mo, and the mudflaps scrape on speedbumps  if I get some 17s cheap, theyll probably float between the 2 cars, then when the novas gone, Im saving pennies to get a gte to build 8)
