Silicone hoses for oil?

Just wondering if silicone hosing is suitable for oil breather applications?

Only if its fluro lined & sold/stated as oil/fuel resistant which rules out most off the shelf silicone stuff.

bugger :( Wanted to do my breather hoses in yellow silicone hose as the standard black rubber ones stand out

They will last for a while, but the oil/fuel will break them down over time....
