My redtop nova would not start yesterday, after a quick look i notice the fuel pump was not going, i traced the wires back to the fuse box, the fuse was fine.

After looking on here i have seen people saying the relay may have gone or a unit in the fuel tank ?

Any one have any ideas ?
Which relay is the fuel one on the bck of the fuse board ?

The pump relay is in the engine bay, but where it is depends on who did your conversion.

Yeah, it may be on the firewall, or somewhere near the battery.

Put 12v live to it & check it still runs, then check the relay if its OK in step 1. If theres still no joy try another crank sensor on it.

If you're getting spark, crank sensor is ok

Thanks lads,, yeh shes turning over just no fuel coming through, i put a tester on the fuel pump and their is no power comming to it at all.

So i will try a new relay see if that works for a start,,, does any one know how i will know if it is the fuel relay is it a certain colour or ref code ?

Break in the wire between relay & pump...?

I've heard 'hall effect sensors' in the dizzy can play up & cause these issues, though I know nothing about it & its a rarely thought about cause that most people wouldnt give a 2nd thought.
