Is a 2/3dr fuel tank different to a 4/5dr tank?

I have a thought its just the fuel filler neck thats different... And that aside, what 4/5dr fuel tanks would be needed for an XE conversion with external fuel pump?

They should interchange as the rear floor panel is the same for 3 & 5 doors but the chassis legs are different. The filler inlet is different aswell, it goes in at the centre of the tank on a 5 door afaik

"Fuel" and "tank" are both too short for the search engine so HAH.

actually 4 letters is the minimum, so they're both long enough lol Finding what you're after with words like "fuel" and "tank" is a black art though

Is this for your mates car?

No, his is a 3dr.

I'm just considering future options for when the blue saloon falls apart, which may be sooner than I think. The doors are dissolving rather fast for a start lol

There's a lot more 4dr saloons around than 2drs, and they tend to be considerably cheaper too.
