Were there a pot type and flat flywheel fitted to the x16's? If there were are they interchangeable?

There all Pot.

And yeah you can fit a 1.6 8v flat fly. need swap the clutch pressure plate too though.

Yup, as a flat fly is about 3kg lighter :)

Does the slave cylinder have to be changed as well?
