GTE engine help!

Iv wired up a GTE engine in my friends Nova.

Now iv come to start it and the fuel pump runs, pressurises the fuel rail, It sparks as it should do but wont run.

Iv checked the injectors and its not earthing them out to enable them to open.

Iv tried my spare loom, ecu and fuel pump relay, but to no avail.

Is there anything else that I can try?

there should be an earth in the engine loom which bolts onto the cam carrier. is this on?? is you gearbox earth strp on and good? try using a jump lead from the engine to the neg terminal on the battery to make sure

Sorry, forgot to put that!

The bolt is securely fastened to the cam carrier and the earth on the gearbox has been replace with an earth running straight off the battery to where the same earth for the loom is on the cam carrier!

The plug that goes to the dizzy, someone had cut it in the past and wired it the wrong way!
