this problem has just arisen and as you lot are so helpfull wondering if anyone has had any dealings with a saxo starter motor?

new battery and it sounds like it soesnt have enought guts to turn the starter, varta battery and it starts fine when you bump it. doesnt even have the power when jump leads are on it just turns over slowly??

poss a bad earth?

thought of that but if it was a bad earth would it not just not work?

not always try it using a jump lead as a earth! if not might just be a lazy starter motor!
