Gotta love goldeneye and mario kart, youknow goldeneye when it was released was rate 99.9% and nothing has ever reached that high before and not after either (or was it Zelda) but you cant beat it, ive got the 360 and playstation and wii but you know thats still hooked up to a t.v. in my house :)

lol, Loving this post, goldeneye was amazing many days lost playing that.

Was a megadrive man myself though, micro machines, lotus turbo challenge and the mighty road rash ( any game with the tag line 'its time to speed and bleed' has to be a winner lol )

Just wish i hadnt got rid of my megadrive when i got my ps1 :( .

i thought so was having second thoughts when writeing it, and they were both awesome games, cant remeber how many times i went through Zelda. but still the N64 realised an awesome game with top ratings of the day, and nothing has come close to get a 99.9% rating.

Road Rash rocks :D

I remember on our ooollllld Master System (1!) we had hang on as the built in game. First thing my sister did was think it was road rash, and proceeded to crash into someone and lose lol

I loved watching my dad play zelda but only ever played in once he completed, just used to wander around. Also used to get well scared if I fell down that hole at the top of the pyramid where the final boss was lol
Had to be Mario, Sonic and Alex the Kid for me :)

man I LOVE old retro games! Have recently been looking on the bay for a replacement to my old Sega Gamegear - loved that thing but not as much as my old 80's computers - Dragon 32, Speccy and the original Atari woody 2600.

Might get my old Amiga down from the loft and have see if nay of the games still work.

Old computers - FTW!

I still have my bbc micro in the loft.... with a tape recorder for loading games. hours were spent waiting for them to load. It did have a voice synthesizer chip that was good for scaring my mum. I was the master at Chuckie Egg http://www.repton3.co.uk/chuckieegg.php (< recreated pc version) & I spent weeks doing a maze game as I paused it on every room & drew a map of it. thank god technology got better
