2.0 8v fueling

i brought a nova luxe with a 2.0 8v engine already fitted to it but thats all the ****s done they didnt change the brakes, fuel pump, exhaust nothing !

i need to change the fuel pump but i think the car was a carb so it has the fuel tank with the internal pump. do i need to change the whole fuel tank for a gsi/gte one so i can have an external pump or can i just get a better fuel pump to sit in the tank thats already in the car ??

if the tank has the internal pump, just fit an astra mk3 one into the hole. lift the seat and look for the hole bud

what astra mk 3 pumps are powerful enough ? and do they just sit straight in ?

my old 2.0 8v just had an external pump fitted on the bulkhead it "will" work fine but when you go round a corner it bogs as the fuel is sloshing around in the tank if not get a gsi or gte tank im sure they fit fine
