cleaning a turbo

taking some photos of a turbo for college. managed to borrow my brothers old turbo. which is in not bad condition but need it a bit cleaner. just been using de-greaser and a wire brush but any other suggestion to get it clean and then shiny

carb cleaner in a spray or brake cleaner tbh

Best bet would be to remove the housings and get them blast cleaned, only thing you could do with the rest of it is scrub with wire brush / scotchbrite using some degreaser.
Make sure you fit some bungs in the oil feed and oil drain holes.
Once you've got it clean enough rinse it all off with some brake / carb cleaner.
