If they're 4 stud, straight swap.

yess it is a 4 stud, and the engine in the calibra was a 2ltr 16v

great glad this will fit, i wasnt sure if it would fit as were the suspension leg botls on to the carries, i thought it woundnt line up on to the nova suspension leg, ? so all i need to change my brakes is the callipers, dic's and the carries,

what bout the cv joints will they fit from my nova 1.2 8v in to the calibra carriers?? or do i use the carriers already on the nova??

The carriers have nothing to do with the hubs that the cvs fit thru.
You unbolt the carriers with the calipar (10mm allen key) then bolt them on to the nova hub carrier.

If you can get trade, 256mm disc and pads are 42+vat from vauxhall.

Yes they will fit then, they will be 256mm, and your need a minimum of 15" wheels, but you can fit them under 14" wheels with a bit of shaving off the caliper, but i wouldn't recommend it.

Jay you can fit them under astra gte wheels which are 14", and astra lxi/sxi wheels too.

No, use the carriers and calipers off the cally, you won't need to touch your shafts/hubs at all. Remove the 2 allen botls, swap entire brake system over, refit allen bolts, bleed brakes, easy as pie!

Pah, don't bother removing the caliper if the pads are ok!

Allen key jay.... You dont need to touch the slider bolts.

Jay

When refitting them, i would personally take the caliper off, check the piston goes back ok, clean the carrier up and copper grease the pads up. Maybe thats just me....

Benn

You only really need copper slide on the topand bottom edge like sits on the lip of the calipar where it slides.

remember not to fook the master cylinder up when bleeding!!!!!

Use a self bleed if you have one! or go down very very slow on the pedal when bleeding!!

Benn

You shouldnt be able to damage the mastor cylinder when pressing the pedal down when bleeding, your thinking of pushing the piston back with grips.
