I'm shore they are welded on if not the screws will be that rotten it'll be the same as welded.

there little rubbers with thread ether end.kind of look like a cotton real as the rubber and thread either side.well this is whats on mine an had them on my old astra gte as well.

just found out u get this little things that you twist in to the key hole shaped holes on the bottom and then they click in to place and u just bolt them it on
