More bhp on a 1.0L?

Does any1 know any way of giving my little engine abit more power apart from a k&n filter? And the obvious of getting a new engine which i will be doing bout april time.

i believe he tuned a 1litre a while back.

have a look in the galleries - i think its the red one or green one IIRC it was his second or third.

It's not really worth tuning a 1litre, for the cost you wouldn't get a big power gain.

just keep your money and run your ltle 1.0 until april and stick in a 2.o lump under your bonnet. no point spending money trying to tune a 1.0

I'd say a 1.4 SR/SRI would be your best option. 2.0's involve more work.

totally a 1.4 sr engine with twin 40's now that would be a cnuting quick car

Alot of things would make it a cnuting quick car, but the 1.4 SR/SRI is the best for an introduction into Novas.

It's simple to fit and not to dangerous to drive. It's fairly cheap as well.

Back to the 1.0, If I were you I'd Tune the engine up so everything is at it's optimum settings, give it an oil, filter and plug change and get it running sweet, then loose some weight, spare wheel etc.

Then get yourself a Black 1992 Mk2 SR, With a hint of blue along the side trims.

yes he know's as he now has a 2.0 in there. :D
