Got a prob

Hello people right i got a prob :o the past 2 days my interior light stays permanently on when doors are open or closed i aint got a clue why :? would be thankfull for any one who could help cheers :P

have you pulled the headlight switch out? without realising?

u do know it is for the interior light if you pull the headlamp switch out.........?

i suprised someone else with that the other day!

other than that maybe corodded wire behing the door switches or a faulty door pin switch even

nope aint that cos my alarm dont detect that my doors are closed

bad earths. undo the screws and clean up the contacts

in my case there wired to the same thing.............

if i leave my interior light on

or if i leave a door, bonnet etc etc open, then the alarm beeps at me and wont set until i do summat about them

Certainly worth checking the door pin switches first as they are the easiest although I would have thought that if these were faulty or a bad earth, the light would not work at all - unless the plunger has broken and its now not long enough. Might also be a fault with the light switch mentioned above. Or the cable to the switches has missing insulation and earthing out somewhere but this would tend to make the light flicker as you went over bumps etc.

ok all prob sorted some bad wireing was in voled got a m8 to fix it cheers all
