Sorry for being nosy but what car will you be needing these for as 48's will be pretty damn big, if running on most nova engines.

Id speak to Martin Kelson too as he has the full setup inc mbe,inlet all available etc.

asda, four 10 litre buckets, £5. job done. your spec must be huge to need 48's tbh, 45's on an xe will get you to 250bhp dependant on spec.

48's can be set up to run on a standard C20XE easy.

48's can be set up to run on a standard C20XE easy.

i can tel you know thats a load of ****.

mates had a mk2 escort in his garage for past week having alsorts of work done.

has a stock 20xe on 48's, and just cant breathe enough for them. so the lads now going for 45's.

unless your gona be running atleast a half decent spec. go for 45's

I sold mine sorry on e-bay in the end.

I ran my 48's for about the last 4-5yrs with only a minor bit of headwork, mild cams & pocketed pistons with no trouble at all.

there my old carbs mint first is selling and i had em on both a standard valver and one with head work and cams wi no problems if you cant get it to run take it to bogg brothers they set mine up and they were great
