hi
ive got some gte clocks fot the car and iv got the standard 1ns in atm, the problem is where the speedo attaches to the standard clocks is in the center, whereas on the gte clocks it is off to the left somewhat, my cable wont bend that far as there is a metal bulkhead in the way therefore the clocks wont fit in. and when i have them connected and not fitted the speedo doesnt work????

just pull the cable back, feed it around the side, sorted :)

iirc re routs the cable to the side of the metal support, and if the speed o head is cream crackered its not too hard to swap your old one into that clock set (keeps your mileage as well)

the speedo head on the clocks is ok but its just as a weird angle and ive pulled it back and put it in the other side lol but its still at to much of an angle ? and the clocks dont fit in

Do they have 3 wee screw holes around the side

2 at either end parallel to each other and 1 at the top bang in the middle ?

If so, there Mk2 clocks

Just check theres nothing in the way behind the clocks that might be stopping you from pushing them in properly.

And as said, you have to bring the cable up the left hand side of the steering column support!

yeh thats what iv done, iv fitted them without the speedo cable in and they fit fine, its just my speedo cable wont go around to the left of the collum and push in because it has to bend this is when it gets stuck up against the support and wont fit in
