Fitted my new clutch today and a new sump. Went out to drive it for abit then the cltuch went 3 mins later lol. Dont you love cars :cry:

Dont know yet got to take the gearbox off again now. but put it in gear and put my foot down to go and it went. and wont engage the clutch. So god knows what happend but looks like ill be busy for a few more days lol

Id double check the driveshafts are pushed all the way in first!

You sir are a legend, it was a driveshaft that poped out. + rep to you :thumb:

My mate once did a clutch at my old work,left a 6mm socket in the bell housing as he had changed the concentric slave aswell,went round the block on a test drive and the socket got caught in the clutch and spat through the bell housing into the diff lol Mucho oil in the road

Yea your telling me, its no way i was going to take that gearbox off again. Well seems ok again now. Apart from the spinning :( looks like ive got to get a lsd

lol im not suprised you didnt want to do it again i wouldent want to do my sr one again for a long wile and that just drops out lol

lol Yea you got to love the sr's so easy to work on. Well after this i might think of getting a f13 instead of the f15 so i can take it off without taking the gearbox off.

lol would make it easier eh!!! yea they are easy to work on but i still get p*ssed off sometimes lol

Well of course i used to its a nova at the end of the day. i get sick of the noisy clutch, brakes, heaters, the constant rattles and the ganster lean steering wheel, the windows that want to go down when they want not you ect ect. Well i spose thats why we love them lol

Tbh it wasnt actually his fault,hed tightened up the last bolt,then removed what he thought was the ratchet AND socket,then we put the box back on obviously the socket didnt get used for owt else when putting it all back together,we didnt know why it had spat its diff till we took it off again lol
Then weeks later because id wound him up about it,he saw me doing a clutch and noticed i hadnt fitted the new release bearing,didnt tell me lol
I put it all back together,started it up and he then came and told me lol lol

its the working on it that p*sses me off lol ohh and the no brakes!!
