^lol oops:thumb: must be a joke though, three people together cant be that daft?lol
it involves an mx5, therefore, yes.
Was gonna say thats gotta be a setup as noone could seriously be in charge of a rolling road and be that dumb surely?
LHD so I guess its probably in America somewhere. So yes, quite likely that epic fail is about to occur

well another pointing factor to it being in america is the steering wheel is on the wrong side but the people dont look fat enough

Aaaanyway...
You're all of course aware this is most probably on a brake roller right, and not a rolling road dyno? lol

yeahh, but then that spoils the funny bit lol
Do they normally strap cars down on a brake test and have a dirty great fan?
Or can you get rollers that do both?

well the fact its on the rollers the wrong way and its a mx5 so theres a few problems with the pictures lol

In theory, you should do, yes. As if the brakes jam, the car could jump off them. In practise, most garages don't bother lol
And you're assuming the fan is there for the car. It could be for the garage, or just put there out the way.

Nice theory but a brake roller is sunk into the ground and fixed wheras that one is level with the ground (could be a motorised one to drop down) but brake rollers are fixed and have two small rollers:p

dont think thats a break test usally rollors are before ramp never seen some one use a fan on break test and one of the test on a break test is a lock out test witch in that case it if the rollers are spinning ether way thers no point in the straps and cant do a acurate test if it rolling to wards fan.
Assume makes an ass out of u and me :p
You're assuming the fan is there for rollers. As said, could just be a handy spot to store it, as its not actually turned on.
Hey ho, just offering a possibly logical explanation.... of course, the logical explanation could well be they're a bunch of retards, but I tend to look for the good in people.
Sometimes. lol
