I'd say thats a good quote.

Might be worth ringing Sky to see if they can beat it though, if they'll cover you in Manchester.

I think i will try sky because theres no harm done in seeing whether or not they can beat it

tpft at 19 with 0 ncb for £1295 sounds flipping cheap to me for a let

Wont it depend on what the car started out as? i.e a gsi c20 will be more expensive than a sri c20?

Cheers

yes mate

when i stated the car started as a 1.4 Sri Nova it was £1500 rather than a GSI which was £1700

mines a 1.2 with the modification of a none standard engine (let) but they didnt even ask what size it was so it could be a 1.3 or a 3.0 and its the same thats with hsbc
also been pulled loads bonnet up and every thing and not a problem

so what your saying with HSBC i could insure a c20let for the same price as c20xe?

Sounds very fishy to me too.

19, XE nova all mod declared was quoted £971 through adrian flux, highways insurance iirc which is brilliant. I live in devon though, not exactly the capital of orginised crime. Shame cars not on the road with a bargain like that!

very fishy so basically i could have a massive engine in a small car and they wudnt care less, so there only bothered about what engine it had in before:S
strange

Will a V8 squeeze into a Nova?!

Will a V8 squeeze into a Nova?!

lol doubt it too heavy and big even if it went in the back

Actually, yes it will. Phil Sutton fitted a Rover 3.5 V8 to a hatchback, RWD too, but had to abandon due to lack of funds :(

Jim, call Sky, I'm sure they could have a god crack at beating that. Plus customer service is miles above Flux :D

Sky has quoted me £340 for a C20XE with all mods declared, 3pts 29yrs old, 4yrs NCB i dont think thats too bad,

my Evo cost me £690 with 11yrs NCB

what do people think to that?
