quick question to anyone who has done this conversion, what was the difference in costs before and after?

mine was 90 more mate , was paying £500 on the 1.6 and now paying £590 on the XE ,
I was getting quotes for about £100 to insure the Saloon as a 1.0; currently paying £320 with the XE.

some firms can be funny and want to see enginer reports and want trackers. ur best goin with a modified car insurance firm like adrian flux

As above, try a specialist.. this is not the sort of car which you can get a quote for via the internet! Specialist cars need specialist insurers.

im 19 i declared it and its was £26 cheaper then it was when it was a 1.3 im now paying 860 odd

Mine only went up by £90 from c16xe to a c20xe!
