c20xe (spiggot) roller bearing in crank

hi, just wondering if anyone know's if all xe's have a (spiggot) roller bearing in the crank for the gearbox shaft? mine has not got one! & im runnign out of ideas as to what is making a noise when accelerting hard.
ive changed the gearbox,clutch,inercv's,outercv's everthing new, but ive still got the same noise.

it's making a "clangey" noise when you boot it, also sometimes you cant just floor it from a standing start, it sort of dies then picks up. also when stationary there is a rattly noise which stops when you push the clutch pedal in, its not there all the time tho.
