^as above, i need the part that fits on to the backpart/outlet side of the ext/fuel pump,as mine is now leaking:cry: i havent been to vuaxhall yet!! does anybody have one? or know if they are available new? many thanks gaz:thumb: ta

I think you should still be able to get them new. Its supposed to be safe to run without if needed for a bit tho.

thanks. i,m going to bypass it in the morning just to see how she runs!! and look for more leaks lol. if i can i will put another one there, job done:)

although i still have mine fitted , i have ran them without before and know plently of people that have aswell :thumb:

I suppose if you think about all the track nova's that run fine without one when using the aftermarket pumps.

i have bypassed the damper with no problems (no more leaks) and it starts better :D i dont think i will be replacing it as vauxhall want £59.83 +vat for a new part!! they must be on drugslol . it looks like the old damper was adjusted to full flow anyway! thanks for the comments and help:thumb: cheers

Yep, runs fine without! Apparently all it is there for is to smooth out the pulses from the fuel pump :wtf:
Ive got 2 or 3 sitting there spare from previous......
