Anyone got a pic of a flip-up monitor fitted in a Mk1 dash?

Just wondering if they flip-up ok or do they catch on the top of the dash? Would be cool just to see what they look like fitted in a Mk1.

im guessing it depends what flip up you get TBH

them gash ripspeed ones im guessing you will have to have angled down so it doesnt catch,

My mates Kenwood adujusts out aswell and tilting the screen so that would be ok im guessing.

my mate had a tidy one in a cav and it cleared the dash as the stereo is stepped back like the mk1. i cant mind the make but he doesnt buy ****.

The ripspeed ones arent too bad tbh for what they are and what they do, i run a DV720 in my mk3 cav and it clears perfectly and sits flush against the heater panel, iirc a mk3 cav stereo recess is deeper than a mk1 nova so if it clears the cav then a mk1 nova would have no clearance issues at all:thumb:
