View Full Version : NOVA LET vs CORSA LET......

Assuming a Nova let and Corsa let have similar set-up’s how do they compare? Anyone have any experiences/opinions in qtr mile, road situations, track days, etc??


I know the Nova is lighter, than say a Corsa B, but from what I can see the Corsa seems to do better down the strip for example?

At a guess, same spec brakes/wheels/tyres/suspension/engine........

I would say they would be the same!

a p2 nova has done 12.8, never heard of a p2 corsa doing 12.8 1/4

Not sure about cornering etc...

Although heavier the corsa's track is ever so slightly wider so maybe better for handling?

the corsa may be slightly more aerodynamic so build both and race them lol

xe corsas are on average half a second slower tan Xe novas up the 1/4mile.

The Corsa is about 100-150kg heavier than the nova so identical drivers, engines and internals (ie trim etc) the nova should be quicker.

The corsa B chassis/suspension is largely the same as the Nova, any chassis stiffness gained would likely be offset by the weight, despite the extra track width on the corsa i would think they would be V similar on track.

On the road the Corsa looks a little GEY where as the nova looks oldskool. With both tastefully styled you would looked better in the Nova.

fennys corsa done a 12.8 1/4 on phase 2 mate :thumb:
