Just a couple of questions about my X14xe's wiring.

Is a imoblised loom the same as the non-imoblised loom?

And does anyone know a way to see if the ECU is imoblised or not?

Cheers

Do you have the transponder chip and pickup????

Do you know what year the engine is???

The loom is pretty much the same yeah

Im waiting for the keychip and transponder to come.

Engine is from a 95/96 corsa. Which from what i work out is around the change over.

Make sure its the transponder and pickup from the donor car, as they are coded to the ecu, and have to match

yes you can open the ecu and burn it out of the circuit boards but its expensive

Every X14XE has an immo. Looms are same. You can remove an immo from memory by reprogramming it.

FPSML @burn it lol

You can re-program it to clear the immobiliser input signal.... Thats a job for a electronics/automotive place though, as i doubt main dealers will do it.

yer i knew i could get it re-programed. Damm expensive for what it is tho iirc.

Its a shame work dont have the software needed :(
