its the opel version and u will need to burn it to a CD to get it to install but other than that it works fine

you must make sure you label the cd: CDGMPE1

silly question m8 but what do u mean by label? (i really hope this isnt obvious and makes me look foolish :oops: )

the link i gave u was to download the EPC

once uve downloaded it you need to write it to a CD

u need to name the CD "CDGMPE1" or it wont install

if u dont have a CD writer then u'll need to get someone to burn and send u a copy - ste and mike both offered that so speak to them

i gave u that link since it was easier for me to simply download it than to buy it from someone, for u it might be easier to buy it, i dunno.

labelling the cd 'CDGMPE1', does that count for the Vaux EPC in general or just the one your on about downloadin? i bought one on ebay, it installed but had multiple errors. its labelled 'vauxepc'. the guy has sent a new one to my work which i'll get tomorrow, but if that doesnt work could it be down to the label?

its the Electronic Parts Catalog that the dealers use to find parts

look in the root of the CD,

on my version there is a 300meg file named cdgmpe1.img find this file

it might be larger or smaller depending on the vesrion (i'd expect 2.4 to be larger)

but it hsould be big and end in IMG - the cd name should be the same as that file excluding the ".img" ending

i have 2.4 but still stuck in the stone age i ent got broardband and 2.4 is on 2 cds and you need both cds for it to work.

its available if anyone wants it tho. (so to speak)

how do u go about burning this? its not like a BIN or CUE :/

well first off extract it all to a folder using winrar

then create a standard data CD and drag the files into it with your favorite CD creation program
