Single point injection yeah? It'll have an internal fuel pump so you replace that with an MPI one from a mk3 Astra and retain your current fuel tank. You could get away with keeping your current car loom and joining the engine loom in to your current one, but the SPI looms are quite big so the GSi loom would be ideal (or a basic 1.2 carb loom to join the engine loom in to). You'd probably need to sort yourself an exhaust out too.

The conversion has been covered quite a few times on here so look for older posts.

Its only about 5 wires on the E16SE loom plug to make it run. Keep the plug on the engines loom & see if you can get hold of the other half from a scrapped car's loom, then solder that into your loom so it plugs in & out.

Much neater IMO. Then just unpick & remove all the SPI loom from the car loom. Best with dash out I think.

Tom Bish has recently been through this on his SRi.
