Im I right in thinking I can use the throttle linkage from a 1e carb (1.2) to convert a 2e to manual choke? (read it somewhere)
Also, does this mean I could retain the 1e throttle cable (just 1 thing less to buy)??
Cheers
go to local old style motor factors & get the manual choke conversion kit. I think baxter knows of a local one near him with them on the shelf. also get a nova choke cable because it looks so much better & you can get the dash light to light up to warn you.

Right thats out the window then as bike carbs going on soon so dont want to be spending that kind of cash on a manual choke conversion kit.
And I'm assuming the 1.2 and 1.3 SR throttle cables arent the same.
I think the cables are the same, don't they both have a ball/socket type end??
hold on, just re-read the thread... go to a scrappy & get a choke linkage off a 1200.

Got one.
Sorry, been taking thick pills, you can use the 1200 carb & manifold on the 1300. I ran my 1400 conversion on one & it went really well
