Sorry, Corsa B Question!!

I've got a 1200 8v with the Imobilizer set up and the key chip malarky, if I fit a baby XE, can I plug and play as in fit the proper transponder and obviously the new loom and ECU and bypass all the nonsense wiring associated with a Nova?

Yeah, unplug the 1200 pickup barrel, replace with the baby xe one.
And then just tape the transponder chip out the baby xe ignition key to the barrel
