Picked this llittle beauty off ebay from Chester Not a nova but hey its all good!!

Spec -

1990 Astra Belmont Estate
XE engine conversion
Fully stripped inside bar Burberry seats and door cards!
Custom rear suspension? ( in the bak there is a strut brace bolted on and then 2 holes have been cut in the floor and the struts come through and bolt to the strut brace?)
Rear cage (was used in hill climbing so i think its MSA approved?)

cav fan type wheels with yokies
The thing goes like stink imo quicker than my xe nova!?!
Also came with a Private plate as you can see valued at £850?!?

Rear Suspension?

the cuts on the floor look abit of a mess in the pic but they have duck tape over the edges and its got wet and dryed up.

That looks cool but that rear damper setup seems a massive bodge to me so id give the brakes and wiring a good coat of looking at to make sure its all as it should be:thumb:

Nice! but that suspension set up sucks, you can get them low, without doing that. Fit the standard interior back in ftw!

(ps it's not a belmont either, it's simply a mk2 estate, the belmont was the saloon variety)

I like it apart from the rear suspension, deffo needs the interior put back in but cant complain too much at that price.
