as above then sometimes drops down to 1000 then goes back up to 1500 ive taken ther idle control valve out gavr it a cleen placet it back in and its still the same any ideas thanks

ive changed the following of doner engine idle control valve, fuel relay, airflow sensor, still idles at 1500 rpm could it posibly be the ecu or the throttle psition sensor

Sounds Like And Air Leak ! Or You Have The Idle Valve Plug And The Knock Sensor Plug Round The Wrong Way??
