Ecotec misfire

i have a 2.0 16v ecotec in my mk3 astra sport (sorry its not a nova :P)

and i have a slight misfire, any idea what it could be?

coil?

sensor??

also how easy is the gearbox to do on these and do i need any special tools?

could be plugs .leads or the coil pack breaking down.does it do it on idle or only when you load it.

im going with the coil pack mate, replaced loads of these in the past.

swap the leads as well

Does it misfire all the time? Mis on no4 from cold may indicate early signs of head gasket failure, remove plugs and copmare colour. If it fouling white, that may indicate it.
