www.google.co.uk (http://www.google.co.uk)
google it bud
Not really the kind of thing that google would find tbh
The pub spec generator on LetsTorqueBHP reckons a 150bhp Nova @ 850Kgs = 6.23 seconds, and 200bhp Nova LET @ 900Kgs = 5.29.
Of course thats if they can get traction, although my Celica has a 0-60 of 6 seconds and that is considerably faster to 60 than the Nova from a standing start, even if the latter can get grip.
Top speed would be limited by the gearbox..?
a 150hp small hatch would do sixty in 7 ish & 140mph ish
a 200 hp small hatch would do sixty in 6.5ish & 150mph ish
but the cars on here are all different specs
There was an edition of Total Vauxhall were they were tested 0-60 quarter times and top speeds etc.But take into account, wheel sizes, condition of engines, spec of engines/boxes,driver skill etc
indeed, as andy says there are many factors to take into account. but i can tell you, having been in a 190bhp xe corsa b at 157mph, its fooking scary and wrong. the car is so unstable its silly.
I had both my nova XE and corsa XE's on the limiter in 5th. People say thats 152, 155, 157mph, others say it's in reality more like 140mph. All I know is it's mucho fun!
LeeH did a 5.9sec to 60 in his std xe nova iirc.
