Like the look of that. Early Vectra rims? Suit it well IMO. Any bay pics of said LET?

Wheels are nice. Backbox a little to big but thats my taste (it aint obnokcious though SPelling?)

Good idea to remove that "extra" spoiler.

Overall nice car.

Ahh so you bought that. I was sooo tempted by it, couldn't get the cash together at the time though. Is it as spotless as the pics I have say it is? lol

it was on pistonheads for quite a while.. it really is spotless. the underneath is perfect. no hole's or rust. i'm just trying to put my own mark on it now..

I've got like 20 pics of the underside of that car, and the engine bay too. It truely is immaculate. Glad you removed the bumpstrips and the ghey spoiler though. I take it the mot wasn't a problem, or did the previous owner get that done for you?

Get a nice fmic rather than relocate the current one. Subtley hidden behind the bumper, sprayed black :thumb:

most people do.. it works. the vent in the bonnet get's air to it. it just doesn't look right. like i said it's a pain to work on as well with it being there.

he got it mot'ed the day before i went down to look at it. he was a really nice lad, he had the car for 13 yrs. he was gutted when i drove off in it. especially since he had spent so much money on it.. lol were you interested in buying it then??

Yeah, was proper interested, just couldn't get the cash together that he was asking for it, plus fork out for insurance at the same time (me only being 22).
Was surprised how long it sat on PH for, it's spotless!

luckily for me, not for him. when we went out for a test ride, an oil pipe came off and spewed oil all over the place. he hadn't used the car for a while. so it was a good bargaining chip when it came down to the price. had a couple of issues with the F20. need to look at it tomorrow. 2nd keeps disappearing on me. so i didn't pay nowhere near what he wanted for it.. bargain :thumb::thumb:

If you don't mind me asking matey, what'd you eventually get for it. When I was bantering with him, said he'd let it go for 2700 with MOT. Absolute steal even at that price.

If you are planning more power best thing you could do is fit f28, stronger and great when on the motorway, was always waiting for my f20 to explode when accelerating hard!

i was thinking about the F28. i looked on here about fitting one. there seemed to be lot's more involved than fitting the F20 ie, height of box etc.. so i bought the F20 instead. i need the car everyday, so it cant be off the road while i'm trying to guess how to fit the F28 in. if this one starts to mess me about i'll have to seriously consider the 28. :thumb:

Kept seeing this on Pistonheads wondering why it wasnt snapped up!

I like how you have changed it, personally i would have kept the bumpstrips but thats just me, cant fault it other than that.

took them off because the 1 on the drivers door was starting to peel off slightly.. had a MK2 Astra GTE yrs ago, did the same to that as well. looked miles better. just need's a bit of a buff to blend lines in properly. passenger side is ok, just drivers side needs doing. spent all day cleaning it and hoovering it. it's now DAZ white again, till tomorrow anyway.. lollol

I really like that, but I'd have left the bump strips on too.

Lovely & nice wheels too, quite rare in 4 stud fitment.
