As im out of work at the mo and no real money coming in i decidded to sell my veccy gsi and get a cheaper car as a run around car.
I really want to get a T4 for camping and towing my trailer but going to save my money till i find one that i like.
In the mean time if i need to use my trailer i will borrow mums pajero.
Any way back on topic.
I looked at a few cheap cars (corsa's/astra's/cav's) but they all had sky high millage and nothing to back up what has and hadnt been serviced on them.
I didnt want to go out and spend loads on a car i just need some thing to get me from a2b and back again.
It didnt have to be a big car or nippy as i can always take the nova out for a quick buzz.
So here it is.
Mum had a mrk3 astra that has done about 400 miles since last years mot.Its only done 92k in total and had all its oil and filters changed over bye me.
I also know that its had the water changed/new brake fluid/new filters and the cambelt has been done.
I also know that it has had new vx discs and pads.
The only bad news is that over the last 3 months it has been used as a mobile hay shed at the stables for my mums horse's.
Also the sun has got to the red paint so it's a bit pink.
Apart from the fact it needs a good clean inside and out and a good polish it aint to bad.
Its no beast as only a 1.4ls but it has tax mot about £100 a year to insure.
Happy days.
Sorry about the pic's but i didnt have my camera on me just my phone.

It had been used for moving and storing hay and it stank of it inside.
I spent today giving it a bloody good clean inside and out.
Hope you like.

well if you didnt already know it failed its mot.
It only failed on 2 things.
a bottom ball joint and a head light motor.
So as it was nice and sunny today and i got the afternoon off work (thanks mum) i cracked on with it so it was ready for its retest tomorrow.
Pics time.

i took the head light out and it was a clip broken inside the head light so i went to my garage and found another head light then changed the part over as it was the head light from the drivers not the passengers side.
Thanks for looking.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Ernie

she was a bit run down you could say.
I will give it a bloody good jet wash once the mot is done as it was funny as hell watch the mot guy go and put gloves on half way through the mot when he put his hand in something under neath the arch.
that would of been horse poo at a gues lol.

Ernie
