Think mine has gone when i turn the ignition on it just pisses fuel in to carb for about 2 secs then stop,but when im turning it over theres nothing comeing out at all


has it gone or is it somethink eles

could be stuck open. might be squirting while the fuel pump is priming,
disconnect it and see if it stops.
strange how it doesnt continue pissing when the engine is cranking as the fuel pump should be running.

changing the injector is a simple task.

does the engine fire over at all? it should at least chuff for a few seconds if it got a soaking for 2 secs.

no mate it tryd ones but thats all.at one point it did do nothing

if your trying to tell me that youve done that already then yes it sounds like the injector is stuck. or the fuel pressure is rediculously high and jamming it shut. but the regulator is integral to the throttle body so i doubt this is the case. unless there is a problem is with the return line.

has this just started or has it been after the engine was out for example?

the engine is probably flooded now and thats why it might not be starting.

it was ok the last time i started it.put some fule in and tryd it but nothing was comeing out the injector i took it off to see if it was bock't but there was nothing.there.The spring was stuck shut do i freed it off abit but it back on and it started doing that

How did you free it off? You may have damaged the injector, which is the route of your problem. Possibly.

Its meant to be stuck shut! lol
Its a electronic valve that only opens when the ecu wants it to.

Its probably fcuked now youve gone and put a needle in it.....


IVe got a few SPi injectors here if you need a replacement.

Its always shut.....
It only opens when the ecu "fires" it

£7.50 delivered for a 1.2 spi injector
