Just wondering if these have the round port heads like GTE/GSi novas or square ports like spi/carb engines or are they totaly different from both?

I think there just a modern SPi engine, so assume they keep the same head (square port)

Ive read before on AOC that they are basically just an updated Nova Gsi engine......Ask on there

Ah funk that then lol My current head has had the ports matched to a 1300 inlet, i'm really tempted to get a new proper 1600 inlet manifold for twin carbs and get a round port GTE/GSi head and get that worked on
