Im gonna keep the injection on the gte engine, but what i need to know, is how hard is it to wire up the managment system, also, what other bits would i need from the donor car apart from the E.C.U and loom? are there sensors or somthing?
Thanx in hand,

There are specific wires for the:-
fuel pump, this runs thru the interior of the car and out where the fuel sender wire exits under the seat.
Injection +ve, connect this to the old ignition +ve

Fault light, connect this to the choke light, cos you won't need it any more.

Everything else is either the same as on your old motor, or is all connected to the engine loom. The ecu is on the air filter, the ign. module is on the bulkhead. The fuel pump relay is also clipped on the bulkhead.

Buy an injection tank & pump assy it makes life easier.

Get all of the hoses, the heater hoses are unique, as is the servo pipe.

Keep the faith, I once stuck one in on a sunday afternoon, and drove it to work on the monday

ecu also needs a tacho signal. connect the green wire from the loom (should be on the same plug as the red/nlue wire for the fuel pump) to the signal output of the coil. if your car has a rev counter then there will already be a green wire attached. just join the two toghther.
