Howdy,

new round here - had my fair share of Novas but first XE now:)

When I'm hard on the power 1st and 2nd gear I'm getting a rubbing for the RHS, maybe drive shaft moving back and hitting something... I've not had a look at the conversion properly cause it's a bit snowy and cold up here. Just incase it's a normal thing or I need to get some metal work moved - any ideas?

Getting a knocking from the LHS cv joint so need to see what shafts are on it.

Ta

I'm with Adam, get some pictures up of the chassis leg modification or check your engine mounts

i had a weird rubbing noise, turned out to be my mud flap rubbing my wheel when turned. just thought i would add that in lol

Or a strut brace wedged so tight on the SFi box the engine doesn't move anymore :D Stopped mine doing it.

That Tallys Up To Being The Alternater Then !!

Spot on - looks like the alternator then.

The weather is clearing up soon so need to give her a clean and have a good look at her. Little things like stopping the wobble, try the wheel balance, then bushes and mounts - or maybe that's just what she'll do....

Cheers
