didnt know where to put this, so i put in in general. the clocks that came in gsi's - the ones with the oil level and battery level dials, i know that they wouldnt just plug straight into a 1.2 and work. what would i need to get them to work? thanks

They do plug straight in but you need to run a wire to the coil for the revometer to work and a two wire oil pressure switch is need also for the oil pressure gauge to work

i plugged sr clocks into my 1.2 that didnt come with a revometer standard and it worked. so i just need to plug a 2 wire oil pressure switch into the oil pressure sensor on the engine? what about the battery level, does that work straight away?

It sounds like it already has the wire for the tacho then, the battery will work straight away and it will be a replace ment switch quiet a bit bigger in size and then just run a wire to the clocks

Moved to electrical.

I thought only the 1.6's came with the oil pressure switch on the engine? So that won't work on anything else...?

all engines come with oil pressure switches on the engines dont they? so you get the little oil pressure light on the dash

RJ - they work on all the novas engines.

Mike if you want a pic of what one should look like catch me on msn.

Edit: Yes they all come with a Switch, but not a sender.
