I forgot to add that all of those pics were taken with a prime (fixed zoom lens), my better half was using our telephoto so I think we'll go buy another one next weekend. :)

Supposed to be taking the girlfriend to Chester Zoo in April! Well either there or the aquarium that's near Chester. Don't suppose you've been there aswell? Just wondering which is the best bet. She loves stuff like this!

chester zoo's expensive, blue planet wasnt great when i went years ago, but like i say, it was years ago.

Chester zoo is about £13 per adult, and the Blue Planet Aquarium is fairly pants now.

chester zoo rocks (me and the missus go at least once a year lol ),.... go on a nice day and you can spend all day there.

the blue planet is utter turd, i saw everything they had in an hour and then got dragged into cheshire oaks (next door) for the rest of the afternoon :mad:

good pics i went to knowlsey safari yesterday we went through the lion part and one lion plonked its ass right infront of the nova and wouldnt move the gf shat herself lol

last time i went to chester the nova broke down on the car park lol

theyre excellent - great depth of field on some (the iguana heads one is ace!)

another great day out, me and the missus 'borrowed' her mums ford ka for the day. took it through the monkey enclosure and they reduced it to its component parts in 30 seconds!

on the way home we stopped at the ford garage to pick up the parts that the monkeys ripped off............2 front wiper blades, 1 rear, a rear wiper arm and a new ariel........came to about £50 lol

next time i go ill be driving around the monkeys, not through them!!

lol ive never actually been to chester zoo neither lol , but since we have a caravan down in towyn ,we do go to the welsh mountain zoo, thats not a bad day out there to be fair lol

heh, the bearded dragons are cool, they look proper oldskool.
theyve got blunt spikes on the ends of their tails, lash out at ya lol

edit : infact, i dont think there bearded dragons, they look iguana-ish.. maybe bearded iguana's lol
