Astra Gte Mirrors

How easy is it to fit astra gte mirrors on a nova. would manual ones fit better than electric?

Manual ones would be much easier obviously, but I have a feeling it'll be a big of a pain to do anyway as the actual shape of the mirror is very well moulded into the base plate.

the mk2 astra ones might fit, the mk2 cav ones do, I fitted a set onto an A reg when I was skint & someone vandalled my originals

mk3 astra mirrors are a funny shape & might look odd on the nova door

Mk3 dont fit very well i belive? But i think it depends on the car lol.

Electric is problery easyer as i should imagine the hole for the adjuster on the manual is located differently.

You would have to make up a custom loom (Only about 7wires though) and use a mirror switch from preety much any vauxhall. If you decide you want electric mirrors let me know, can help you make the loom if needed (Done it before)
